Hot Tracks From New Wax on the Racks

Hi there. Been a while. You're good? That's good. Me too. How was your summer? Busy? I bet. Me too. That's great. Good catching up. You too. See you around.

Now that the niceties are out of the way, let's get to the reason we're here. Records. We've got some killer tunes to share with the world, and here's a sample.

"Suffragette City" from David Bowie's 1972 "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars"

Did you know that this album and the title of this blog are anagrams of each other? Now you do.

"Red-Eyed and Blue" from Wilco's 1996 album, "Being There"

Close your eyes and go to sleep, baby

Take your head off your feet, honey

Cause you've been working hard and I know you're tired

You been trying hard not to think I'm a liar

"My Michelle" from Guns N' Roses's 1987 classic, "Appetite for Destruction"

This is specifically aimed at the woman that was in the store today, looking for this specific album, asked for it by name, and we didn't realize that it was like 5 records away from being priced. Everyone else, cover your ears, this isn't meant for you. -- If you're out there, somewhere, lady we've got the album you're looking for. In fact we've got the newly released reissue with the foil art slipcase etc.

"She Don't Use Jelly" from The Flaming Lips 1993 album "Transmissions From the Satellite Heart"

I don't know if it was said by Beavis and/or Butthead, but I agree with the sentiment that these guys rule.
